Dr. Prabu Prabhakaran is the founder and President of P&G Enterprises, Inc., a company dedicated to providing services in the areas of information technology and science education.

Dr. Prabhakaran has more than thirty years of experience in all aspects of information technology. He has successfully managed large IT contracts for companies like Raytheon and Sterling Software and provided outstanding services to the Department of Defense (DoD) and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) for more than eighteen years. During his tenure as Raytheon’s Program Director, the US Army Research Laboratory’s Major Shared Resource Center (ARL MSRC) experienced exponential growth and emerged as one of the world- class high performance computer centers providing computational support to thousands of DoD scientists and engineers engaged in the research and development of new materials and weapon systems to improve our nation’s military capabilities. Prior to that, he was the vice president for Sterling Software and effectively managed software development, networking, operations and data processing for NASA Glenn Research Center, Cleveland, Ohio and Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, California.

Dr. Prabhakaran has successfully organized several conferences in support of his customers to highlight their capabilities and showcase their success stories. Innovative approaches to solve problems facing the customers and gaining their admiration by his integrity and adopting the "customer first" approach has contributed to his success as an outstanding manager.

Dr. Prabhakaran received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mathematics and statistics from Indian Universities. He also received M.S in mathematics/computer science from Ball State University, Muncie, IN and Ph. D. in Applied mathematics/computer Science from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio. Subsequently, he received his MBA from Kent State University, Kent, Ohio. He has taught mathematics for engineering students in Indian Universities. He has also served as adjunct faculty member at the Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio and the University of Akron, Akron, Ohio.

In addition to his interest in information technology, Dr. Prabhakaran has a passion for mathematics and science education and plans utilize the services of P & G Enterprises, Inc. for the promotion of mathematics and science education in the community. Since 2003, he has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Science and Math Academy, Aberdeen, MD. He has also held leadership positions in several non-profit organizations dedicated to educational, cultural and literary activities.
